respiration is intaking of oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide in humans and animals but, in plants the respiration is intaking of carbon dioxide and releasing of oxygen

respiration and burning are similar to each other because, the respiration is mentioned above that they intake oxygen to breathe like that the burning occurs due to use of oxygen in atmosphere.so these two are similar in this situation

burning are done due to heating but the respiration are not by heating.
