What is spore formation? Explain briefly in understanding manner

A node of reproduction resembling multiple fission ,common among Protozoa,in which an organisms break up into number of pieces or spores, which eventually develops into an organism like the parent form.The formation of the spores ,as in the growth of bacilli.

In some pants such as ferns and moses which grow in hilly regions.Have small spore bearing structure called sori.When the spores mature the Sori burst and release them into air. At place where spores get sufficient nutrient they grow into new plants.
