What is the best metal which can be used for chemical reaction in lab?

Beywarrior2004: cant anyone answer
Aditya070303: Potassium is best
Because it is most reactive metal and is top on reactivity series.
Hence, it can react with any other metal...

Hooe you are helped...
mathcrackernishant: it is not most useful
mathcrackernishant: because in lab we need a metal which can control the reaction and that too without involving itself
Aditya070303: Then you need boron...
mathcrackernishant: why??
mathcrackernishant: it is a non meta and the question asks about meta
mathcrackernishant: metal
