momentum = mass × velocity (speed)
=1500 × 72/36
=1500×2
momentum = 3000
The change in momentum is 3000 kg

We know that,
change in momentum. =mass×(v2-v1)
=1500×(72-36)×1000/ (60×60)
=1500 kg.metres /sec
