He was not interested to buy that villa, but when he saw a chance of making a profit by selling the villa to Mrs. Al Smith he suddenly was very interested to buy the villa. Mrs. Al Smith was willing to pay 300 thousand Francs. While Juliette was ready to take 200 thousand Francs. He made a deal with Mrs. Al Smith at 300 thousand Francs and paid Juliette 200 thousand Francs. He made a profit of 100 thousand Francs. This shows that Gaston was a better businessman than Juliette.
