Answer:

Two differences between electric energy and electric power are : Electrical power is the rate of amount of electrical energy transferred. Electrical energy is the energy generated as the result of the potential difference in a circuit which causes current to flow through it. Energy is measured in joules.

hope it will help

Answer:

Electric Energy:

Potential difference is a measure of work done in moving a unit charge and current is the amount of charge flowing in one second.

Therefore:

Work Done (W) = Potential difference (V) × Amount of charge(Q)

= Potential Difference × Current (I) × Time (t)

= VIt

= I²Rt

= V²/R × t

[ V = IR, Ohm's law ]

Electric Power:

Power is the rate of doing work, or the rate at which energy is produced.

P = Energy released/time

= VIt/t

= VI

  • Electric power can be defined as "the Electric work done per unit time" or "the rate of consumption of electric energy in a circuit".

Electric Power (P) = Electric work done/time

= w/t

Extra Dose:

  • The SI unit of Electric power is watt.

  • 1 watt = 1 joule/sec

  • 1 kilowatt ( kW) = 1000 W = 10³ W

  • 1 Megawatts (MW) = 1000000W

Thanks
