Unicellular Organisms are simple, and one cell is capable of performing all the necessary functions for survival like respiration, digestion, excretion, reproduction, etc.
However, multicellular organisms are more complex and division of labour is seen.
This is seen significantly in classification of organisms where the unicellular organisms are put under kingdoms Monera and Protista whereas Multicellulars are under Fungi, Animalia and Plantae.

Unicellular organisms
1) A single cell constitute the body of whole organism
2) All the metabolic activities are carried out by single cell
3) It doesn't show division of labour
4) they are mostly microscopic
5) eg amoeba, euglena
. Multicellular organisms:
1) Many cells packed together to constitute the body of the organism.
2) Different cells perform different activities
3) It shows division of labour.
4) They are mostly macroscopic
5) All higher groups of plants and animals
