The term "Equity Cult" refers to the behavior of investors in the business stock exchange or simply in the market. When the investing pattern does not follow the logical risk- benefit trend in the market, it is referred as Equity Cult. We see some stocks create heavy interest among investors though the company's current fundamentals are insignificant. Here the investing pattern does not follow the logical risk-benefit trend.
Death of Equity Cult is one of the major problems of Indian Market in the present era.
