The perimeter of a rectangle is the total length of all the sides of the rectangle. Hence, we can find the perimeter by adding all four sides of a rectangle. Perimeter of the given rectangle is a + b + a + b.

Answer:

to take out the perimeter of the rectangle,

2 × length + breadth

which is written as

2(l×b)

just to explain you

if the length is 4 and the breadth is 2.

2 ( l + b )

2 ( 4 + 2 )

2 ( 6 )

2 × 6

= 12

so the perimeter will me 12....
