♧Answer♧
Texture - Jute is long, soft and shiny, with a length of 1 to 4 m and a diameter of from 17 to 20 microns.
The primary source of the fiber is Corchorus olitorius, but it is considered inferior to Corchorus capsularis. "Jute" is the name of the plant or fiber that is used to make burlap, hessian or gunny cloth.
Jute is obtained when the plant is in flowering stage.
