RTI Act,2005 help people fight corruption and here are some of its real benefits:-

A) Ask any questions from the Government or seek any information:-

It make governmental works more TRANSPARENT. Here,

Transparency means clarity of information, which means

everything should be open and disclosed to all. We the people that are the common citizens put our faith in the system expecting them to work efficiently, fairly and impartially. But today the evil of corruption has increased so much that we have forgotten about transparency in the system. So, by using RTI we can ask every question to the concerned officials about any government project or work.

B) Take copies of any government documents:

This right is just the elaboration of the first one. It says that it is mandatory for the government to provide documents regarding their , if you are suspicious about any work going under the government supervision. Then you can have their printed copies of the Work. Thus, you can unveil possible corruption in the work.

C) Inspect any government documents.:-

Now, its not just the government agencies who has the sole right of Inspection in the government documents. A private agency may also ask for Investigation of government documents. Thus, the works will be more open and any corrupt official will fear the possible inspection before indulging in corruption.

D)Inspect any Government works:

This point gives the Indian citizens and even private agencies to inspect government continued/or done works.Earlier, government works use to be done at cheapest price and the quality of the work was never a question. But now concerned workers fear that if they do not do quality works as expected. There may be a private or governmental inspection and his corruption may be uncovered.

*Hope it helps you* ☺☺
