Young's modulus is defined as the ratio of linear stress to linear strain.
Young's modulus (Y) =
Linear stress / Linear strain
i.e ,
Force / Area ÷ Length / deforming length
i.e,
F/A ÷ l/L
= FL / Al
= MgL / πr^2l //
