The millions of poor children in India are forced to live an impoverished life. They have inherited from their poor parents slums and poverty. In order to make ends meet, they are forced to do the work of rag-picking.
These children should be given special financial help for education and basic necessities of life such as a decent house, basic education, nutritious food, free medical and health care facilities, etc. The Government and people must come forward to help them come out of their plight.
