Answer:

The Congress split in 1907. The Moderates were opposed to the use of boycott. They felt that it involved the use of force. After the split the Congress came to be dominated by the Moderates with Tilak’s followers functioning from outside.

The two groups reunited in December 1915. Next year, the Congress and the Muslim League signed the Lucknow Pact and decided to work together for representative government in the country

Explanation:

Extremists' lack of faith in the capacity of the moderates to negotiate with the British Government

Foundation of Muslim League

Aurobindo Ghosh's inability to be elected as the President of the Indian National Congress

HEYA BUDDY!

The main cause of split in Indian National Congress (INC) was to separate extremists from moderates as their way of fighting against Britishwas different. This meeting was held in Nagpur on 1907. Basically extremists wanted to fight against British by protesting whereas moderates wanted to fight against British by pleading and petting so this different thoughts made in split in INC but their aim/goal was same that to fight against British and expelled British from our country.
