Phule his book Gulamgiri to the American movement to free slaves due to the following reasons:

a. Jyotirao Phule was one of the low caste leaders.

b. According to him, the upper caste of the society had no right on the land as it belonged to the local people who were termed as the low caste.

c. He also wrote a book called Ghulamgiri which means slavery.

d. In this book, he developed his own ideas about the injustice occurring in society.
