man is physically weak in comparison of wild animals like tiger, lion. he has no sharp teeth ,claws, horns. so early man lived in danger. it was not safe to move alone so they move in group

1) they could easily help each other by living in groups rather than staying alone.

2) people of the palaeolithic were extremely good hunters they could easily easily hunt animals in groups which results in their increased hunting skill.

3) if an attack was their on their tribe/group they could easily defend themselves.
