It gets synthesised in the Endoplasmic Reticulum. Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum synthesises lipids plays a clricircal so in detoxifying many porsons and drugs and Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum synthesises proteins and forms lysosomal enzymes. It all takes place in the cell membrane.
