Hello dear.........

Not all infectious diseases are contagious.

For example, urinary tract infections, otitis media (inner ear infection), and tooth abscesses don’t spread.

On the other hand, some infections, like tuberculosis, influenza, and the common cold are spread by a cough or sneeze from the infected person to other people nearby.

Insect bites spread malaria and a dog bite can cause rabies.

Drinking contaminated water can cause cholera and eating contaminated food can spread typhoid fever and hepatitis A.

Touching or being wounded by a contaminated object can allow the transmission of staphylococcal infections and tetanus.

Swimming in infected water can transmit bacterial and parasitic infections.

There are many more examples of contagious diseases, but the major modes of transmission are inhalation, ingestion, or skin penetration.
