Immunocytes (leukocytes) are mainly lymphocytes and they produce humoral (antibody; mainly B-cell) or cell-mediated (mainly T-cell) responses that are central to the immune defences. B lymphocytes evolve into plasma cells, which produce antibodies to protect against extracellular organisms
