which magnet will you choose among permanent magnet and electromagnet for industrial purpose? justify
your answer

I would prefer the Electromagnet for industrial purposes as it does not unnecessarily attract magnetic substances and can be shut down when not needed , preventing accidents ...... we can also see this being used in daily life in junk yards to separate metal scrap permanent magnets are not used as electro magnets are more convenient

Electric magnets have high electric field.

These have aligned parts. These can be modified in any desired shape.

the magnetic field of these can be controlled at any time. The magnets can get high magnetic fields varying from -ve to 0 and positive.

it is not easy to handle natural magnets and can't be used easily by cranes for lifting purpose as they will not drop.

Electromagnets don't loose their strength when heated .

Permanent magnets are not usable after time.

So electromagnets are preferred.
