This is the story of Meg Murry a high school girl who is taken on adventure through time and space together with her brother Charles and her friend Calvin's. They are on a mission to rescue her father who is a talented Scientist from the evil forces that hold him a prisoner on a strange planet.

THE MAIN CHARACTER

Meg Murry is the protagonist and heroine of this book A Wrinkle in Time. She is unattractive and hard to deal with and she is greatly troubled by her personal insecurities. She is also concerned about her father who has been missing for a year. Despite these she is loving and this trait enables her to save her brother Charles from the hands of the evil IT.
Her greatest weaknesses are:

1.Anger
2.Impatience
3.Lack of self-confidence.

However she channels and overcomes them ultimately becoming victorious.

COMMENTS

This is a great personality and what makes her to stand out is the fact that despite many weaknesses, she overcomes them all and succeeds in her mission. Her loving character also make her to save her brother. I must say I like this character and put in her shoes there is nothing to be done better because there is no point where she gives up despite the toughness of the mission.

Meg Murry the most important character in the Wrinkle in Time story goes on a quest with her brother and Charles Wallace and friend Calvin O Keefee in order to free their father from the planet of Camazotz. 
Meg being a high school student was very different from the ordinary children, thus was always considered to be anti social and awkward teenager. However, being different and intelligent was the unique trait of her personality that grabbed the attention of the reader. 
The story perfectly describes how Meg and all other made their journey through time and space in order to rescue their father from IT the disembodied brain. Although Charles was considered to be extraordinary with his special abilities, the children seemed to fail. Thus, in the end Meg fights the IT alone using the sole power of love over hatred. Therefore, if i were in Meg's place. I would have surely done the same. By using the power of love and affection to save all my family from the evil captives.
