because ammeter is used to measure current in the circuit .... and the current passes in particular wire will be same

An ammeter is likely to burn ifconnected in parallel becauseammeter is a low resistance device and when connected in parallel, the resistance of the circuit reduces considerably. Hence, a large current flows in the circuit which may lead toburning of a circuit.
