Why and how does water enter continuously into the root xylem of plants?

Hello...

Cells of root are in close contact with soil and so actively take up ions. The ion concentration increases inside the root and hence osmotic pressure increases the movement of water from the soil into the route which occurs continuously.

Cells of the root-stock are in close association with clay and so actively use ions. The ion-  frequency raises inside the root and therefore osmotic tension intensifies the flow of water from the earth into the root-stock which transpires continuously. It goes up through a method known as transpiration.
