Because they fought the world wars. Both of them. On their own territory. Think about this: the two biggest wars the world had ever seen were fought in large part on the soil of some of the wealthiest and most technologically sophisticated countries in the world. The first one was imagined to be “the war to end war,” then twenty years later they were at it again. With their cities, populations, and cities devastated, even for the winners, it was clear that this kind of thing was unsustainable, and they could not risk another war.

Europe in history has been the continent with the most wars. ... Did we hate each otherso much or are white people more interested in world ... europe indeed has many countries per sq. km than any other continent i think this ... this led to many clashes. thankfully, they stopped fighting each other after ww2
