⭕️It is the ratio of speed of light in medium to speed of light in vacuum.

⭕️ the ratio of free space velocity of light(c) to the velocity of the light in that medium(n).
⭕ refractive index(n)=c/v.
⭕️As it is a ratio of same physical quantity(velocity) it has no unit.
