why does the image get laterally inverted in a selfie


YashParitkar: because of lens infornt of camera, if we add a software you can remove that effect

Because selfie camera acts like a plane mirror and we know that in plane mirror inverted image is formed.

Anonymous: its not mirror, thats glass. If it was mirror, light would not go inside. It uses many lenses, specially convex lens, so image is inverted. Also, there is minute hole, so it works partly as a pinhole camera

because selfie camera act as a mirror .In mirror we get laterally inverted image so selfie it act in the same way
