Why is cartilage avascular? Are all types of cartilage avascular?

cartilage is a flexible connective tissue that differs from bone in several ways .for one the primary cell are chondrocytes as opposed to osteocytes.

chondrocytes rally on diffusion to obtain nutrients at unlike bone cartilage is a avascular, meaning there are no vessels to carry blood to cartilage tissue .
