Macavity is called the 'Napoleon of Crime' in the Macavity the Mystery Cat because he is the mastermind behind all the crimes but never actually does the crime. He represents the corrupt people of our society. Macavity is very swift in his work and he removes all the proofs of his crime so amazingly that no one is able to make out the person behind the crimes.
