Diffusion of blue light

It is actually because when the white light converts into spectrum the blue light is the most dominant in the particular white light

The sky consists of seven colours violet Indigo blue green red orange and yellow but we think we are only able to see blue colour.

when sunlight passes through the atmosphere, it gets scattered by the particles in the atmosphere. as blue light scatters more than red, the blue colour gets scattered into the atmosphere. thus the sky appears blue. :)
