Earth revolves around the sun in elliptical path not perfect circular path,in elliptical path the distance between the sun and earth increases and decreases,when increases winter arrives and when the distance decreases summer arrives and thus other seasons depending on the distance.

As earth moves on its orbit, it undergoes many rotations and revolutions in various degrees.This causes a change in weather of the earth as its distances from the sun change time to time.Have you ever wondered why the sun never rises in northpole for every 6 months in a year?
