Mr. Henfrey was summoned by Mrs. Hall so as to repair a clock in the stranger's room. The stranger felt irritated with Mr. Henfery way of working. In order to hand the wall clock, Mr.Henfrey took a lot of time which irritated the stranger the most. He wanted to be alone and because of the inordinate amount of time taken by the stranger made the stranger feel much irritated.
