The frog was angry because according to the frog the nightingale didn't sing sweetly to enable him to earn more. Secondly, her voice was becoming "uninspired" as her song now zipped, trilled and bounced along. He scolded and forced her to practice singing continously everyday. She got heavily tired and the audience was no longer interested in her voice.
