Settlement:

We know that the wire length is 9 m = 900 cm. To answer this question we have to find out how long the wire is needed to make a cube skeleton model, that is

r = 900 cm / 5

r = 180 cm

now we will look for the length of the rib that can be made, namely:

r = 12s

s = r / 12

s = 180 cm / 12

s = 15 cm

So the ribs that have to be made to produce 5 cubes with a wire length of 9 m are 15 cm.
