The soil is formed by the weathering of the parent rock by physical, chemical and biological agents.It is a slow process and takes thousands of years ,this physical and chemical deposition primarily done by wind,water and climatic changes as the result of these process ,large Rock particles are converted into smaller pieces and eventually to soil. living organisms such as lichens, insects and microorganisms make soil ready for the plants to grow the growth of roots of plants for the add to the weathering of rocks and thus form soil

Answer: soil is formed due to the weathering of rocks The Rocks broke down into tiny pieces due to climatic conditions , earthquakes, natural calamities and so on .after years and decades of being broken down into pieces the the rock forms very tiny pieces which is called soil . it takes a long period of time. one centimetre of soil takes about hundred years to form
