Global warming is a gradual increase in the temperature of the earth surface and atmosphere all around the world. It is caused due to the greenhouse effect of increased level of green house gases such as carbon dioxide, CFCs, etc. There are various types of pollutants also which involved in increasing the atmospheric temperature of the earth. Increasing use of fossil fuels by the people and deforestation is increasing carbon dioxide emissions which trap heat and cause greenhouse effect.

Water vapor is also a significant greenhouse gas which is not directly produced by humankind but involve in global warming hugely. A slight increase in the level of CO2 causes marked increase in earth temperature. Green house gases absorb and re-radiate infrared radiations which ultimately cause green house effect. Because of deforestation, CO2 is not absorbed well and remain in the atmosphere for long time and trap heat.

This is called Green House effect which leads toGlobal Warming .

Global Warming is a thing of serious concern these days. The sudden increase in temperature puts a very bad impact on our environment . The polar ice caps and glaciers are melting as a result . The level of seas and oceans are rising . This leads to frequent floods. Also , increase in temperature has an irresistible impact on flora and fauna also .

It is all because of the ever increasing carbon dioxide emissions . In order to meet our energy requirements , fossil fuels are burnt In a huge amount . This releases a large amount of CO2 which in turn increases the temperature . Our ancestors couldn't even think of facing it but today it has become a wide known reality .

We need to combat and control this serious issue. What we can do is control our requirement for energy! It needs to be tackled as soon as possible and we all need to contribute for it . Global warming is too serious for the world any longer to ignore its danger are well known now.
