Mrs Beena was inside a dog clinic and had just got her dog vaccinated. She came out with her dog and was just about to put the pet into her car. Suddenly, the dog started barking loudly. Although Beena tried to control it, the dog would not stop barking. Before she knew what was happening, the dog suddenly broke off the lease and ran wildly on the street after a man. A policeman noticed the dog and its frantic barking. He decided to follow the dog.
The trail led him to an abandoned shed. The dog stopped barking and stood guard outside the house waiting for the man to come out. The police also waited along with the dog. But, the man did not come out. So, he entered the shed silently and found the man smoking ganja. He nabbed the man from behind and did not give him a chance to escape. The cop then called the police station and asked another cop to come over there. Together, they raided the shed and found a lot of drugs hidden in various corner of the rooms. Further investigations revealed that he was a notorious drug peddler who had evaded the police for long.
The police was rewarded for his achievement. He suggested that the dog should also be rewarded as it was the dog that led him to the man. Mrs Beena was summoned to the police station with her dog. When she reached there, the dog was rewarded with a collar that had a medal bearing its picture. Additionally, Beena was given a good sum for the dog’s welfare.
