Arguments for democracy are-
1. Democracy ensures a better leader as a bad leader can be removed by the people.
2. Due to democracy, politicians make promises to out-do other parties which turns out to be the public welfare at last
3. Democracy does not differentiate between citizens as each and every citizen has an equal value of vote.
4. Nobody is deprived of voting and every citizen's dignity is maintained, thanks to democracy.

Arguments against democracy are -
1. The competitive scenario of ruling the nation can create corruption in the system.
2. A politician need not be highly educated , so there is no guarantee of morality and smart choices.
3. The political parties remain changing in democracy which may lead to an unstable growth.
4. The politicians may be involved in just competition which may lead to no public welfare.

"Democracy can both be favourable and unfavourable for a country.

The features which make democracy unfavourable are:

As the leaders keep changing in a democracy, decisions are not stable.

Democracy involves several people before a decision or plan can be implemented, thus quick and unanimous decision becomes tedious.

Democracy gives room to corruption.

Democracy makes people be made a fool out for votes.

The features which make democracy favourable are:

Democracy is more involved with its people.

It ensures that matters in the country are peacefully dealt with.

Democracy enables better decision making power.

Democracy provides equal opportunities to all its citizens.
