The steps to copy the text and place into same document are:-

Select the text first.

With the help of keyboard press ctrl+c to copy a text.

And when the text get copy go to the point where you have to paste and press ctrl+v.

OR

Select the text.

Go to home option where you can find clipboard option in it then after you get some option inside the clipboard you get tools in it such as Format painter, copy, paste and cut.

After selecting the text click on copy tool and then after go to the point where you want to copy a text and then click on paste tool.
