Slope - intercept form :

Equation of the line whose

slope = m , y - intercept = c is

y = mx + c

*****************************************
Now ,

Given equation is 5x + 3y = 30

=> 3y = -5x + 30

divide each term with 3 , we get,

=> 3y/3 = (-5/3 ) x + 30/3

=> y = ( -5/3 )x + 10

Compare this with y = mx + c , we get

slope = m = -5/3 ,

y - intercept = c = 10
