Answers
ANSWER :
The poet in the poem 'The Song of India' thinks about what he must sing for his beautiful motherland , and whether he should glorify the Himalayas and its abundance or the seas on the three sides of his motherland or should he sing about the beggars and lepers . The dirty surroundings on his streets. Simultaneously, he thinks either to sing of the rich cultural heritage or to the freedom fighters who laid their life for the country.
The Mother then answers to sing the song of people who are in misery due to the people's ignorance and to sing about the helpless child . Still , the speaker is confused and asks what to sing, thinking that this is his job . Again, he wonders , if he should sing about the advancements of his motherland country.
The poet says that his motherland i.e. India has to write the book of its children destiny and about cancelling all her children sorrow.
