The three products of the chlor-alkali  process are

1.Sodium Hydroxide(NaOH),

2. chlorine(Cl)

3. hydrogen(H).

sodium hydroxide (NaOH):

-It is used in the manufacturing of paper.

-It is used for making soaps and detergents.

-It is used for making rayon an artificial textile fibres.

chlorine(Cl):

It is used in the production of bleaching powder.

It is used in the production of hydrochloric acid (HCl).

It is used to make plastics(PVC), pesticides chlorofluorocarbon(CFCs),  chloroform carbon tetrachloride , Paints e.t.c.

hydrogen (H):

it is used as a fuel for rockets.

It used to make Ammonia for fertilizers.

It is used in the hydrogenation of oils to obtain vegetable ghee.
