  • The electrons of an atom are placed in four different orbitals these orbitals are nothing but different energy levels where the electrons are found every atom has a different Atomic number.
  • And  the electron orientation is different for every Molecule the atomic number for Phosphorus is 19
  • Hence the electron distribution will be 2, 8, 8, 1 and that atomic number for chlorine is 17 hence the electron distribution will be 2, 8, 7.
