it is very bad to humans or even other life forms on earths when the direct sun rays hits them.for example ,if the rays directly hits a person,he or she can get skin cancers or other problems which are chronic.this has many bad effects.so ,the ozone layer resent as a covering umbrella for our planet earth,gets the rays simplified and non harming to the living organisms on the earth.this is why ozone plays a vital role now.but ,the emissions from many places which are gases,destroy the ozone slowly which can cause a very big trouble later.
