Here is the answer
Listening skill is very important input exercise in any language learning. Lack of proper and adequate listening activities can lead to not only erratic speaking skills, but also develop faulty pronunciation and accent. There is a considerable stress on listening activities in the modern and latest language teaching methodology. CBSE has introduced ASL i.e. Assessment of Speaking and Listening activities in the academic curriculum. A teacher can organize many listening intensive activities such as given below:
1. These days there are many listening worksheets are available now. These worksheets are done by playing a soundtrack. As the track is played, students match, fill blanks or do MCQs listening to the information from the audio track.
2. The teacher can make similar listening activities. In the absence of the required equipment, the teacher can read out the information loudly and ask the students to fill the blanks or answer very short questions listening to the text he is reading.
3. The teacher can download audio stories from Youtube and play them in the class followed by question answer session with the students.
Such activities will surely improve the students’ listening skills.
