Answer:

Here is a conversation regarding several instances of discrimination in the world.

Explanation:

Aastha: The world has become more and more discriminating these days

Me: I agree. Even for the smallest thing, discrimination is being made.

Aastha: You know what I saw in a shop yesterday? The shopkeeper handed out the exact change to a fairly well off person. The next person was not so lucky. He did not have exact change and the shopkeeper told him to bring it if he wanted to buy what he wanted.

Me: Oh! That is really bad. If the balance was not very high, he could have let it go.

Aastha: I know. It was actually just a matter of Rs.5/-. The shopkeeper could have just ignored it. Or he should have requested the first customer and given him the change.

Me: Yes, after all from what you say, each rupee counts more to him than the first customer.

Aastha: I seriously hope that discrimination soon becomes a thing of the past.

Note:

Discrimination is the practise of treating certain people differently than others. That is not necessarily illegal; after all, people are compensated differently based on their status and skills. But, there are some reasons why your employer cannot legally discriminate against you.
