The question is wrong.

It should be :

Zinc Carbonate + Ammonium Chloride ------> Zinc Chloride + Ammonium Carbonate

\mathsf{{ZnCO_3} \ + \ 2{NH_4Cl}} --------> \mathsf{{ZnCl_2} \ + \ {(NH_4)}_2CO_3}

This is a double displacement reaction.
