\sf\green{ Let \:the\: present \:age \: of  son\: =\:x}

\sf\green{ </p><p>Then,\: the\: present\: age\: of\: father\: =\:3x}

According to the question,

The age of son after 10 years = x+ 10

And the age of father after 10 years =2(x+10)

Therefore,

3x+10 =2(x+10)

3x+10 =2x+20

x= 10

So, the present age of son is 10 years and present age of father is 30 years.

Answer:- Father's age = 30

son's age = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets assume father's age be x and son’s age be y.

Then according to first condition x=3y. And according to 2nd condition x+10=2(y+10)

Now solving we get

X+10 = 2y+20

:- (X = 3y)

=3y +10= 2y+20

3y - 2y = 20 - 10

y = 10

:- Father's age = X

:- X = 3y

:- 3×10 = 30

:- Father’s age is 30 and son’s age is 10.

I hope it is helpful for you.
