Area of floor= 10*7= 70 sq. m
Area of tile= 0.5*0.5 = 0.25 sq. m
Number of tiles= 70/0.25
= 280 tiles
Area of tile= 0.5*0.5 = 0.25 sq. m
Number of tiles= 70/0.25
= 280 tiles

hii!!
here's ur answer...
given the side of tile is 0.5m.
area of the tile = side²
=0.5×0.5
=0.25m²
length of the floor is 10m and breadth is 7m
area of the floor=l×b
=10×7
=70m²
no. of tiles required to pave the floor=70/0.25
=280
hence 280 tiles are required to pave the floor.
hope this helps..!
