Answer: x+2=0

x = -2

p(x) = 2x^3 - 7x^2 + 5x - 8

= 2(-2)^3-7(-2)^2+5(-2)-8

= 2(-8)-7(4)+(-10)-8

= -16-28-10-8

= -62 is the Remainder.
