Answer:

Hey mate here is the answer....

Plz mark as brainliest....

Explanation:

It is done by the process of oxidation reaction.

It is done by adding alkaki KMno4 to Ethanol.

As alkali KMno4 is an oxidising agent. It removes hydrogen and add oxygen to Ethanol.

The equation is given in the attachment above.....

Explanation:

Ethanol can be converted into ethanoic acid with the method of oxidation reaction. In this method ethanol is made to react in the presence of acidified K₂Cr₂O₇ or Alkaline KMnO₄ .On reacting in the presence of these ethanol first converts into ethanal ( ethanaldehyde ) & then into ethanoic acid by the process of oxidation.

The reactions taking place in the above mentioned process are as follows :

C₂H₅OH ------> CH₃CHO + H₂O & CH₃CHO -----> CH₃COOH

NOTE : Alkaline KMnO₄ (Pottasium Permanganate)  & Acidified K₂Cr₂O₇ ( Pottasium Dichromate) are oxidisng agents . So they either add oxygen or remove hydrogen from the products formed.
